System Architect – Virtual Power Plant

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and implement a scalable, robust system architecture
• ▹Define architecture principles, interfaces, standards and integration patterns
• ▹Evaluate and select suitable technologies, frameworks and tools
• ▹Collaborate with development, operations and external technology partners
• ▹Lead research and development projects to further develop the platform
• ▹Monitor technical performance and identify optimization potential
• ▹Create technical documentation and ensure architecture governance
• ▹Ensure security, performance and reliability in production operation

Requirements

• ▹Completed degree in electrical engineering, computer science, software or systems engineering, or comparable qualification
• ▹Experience in the architecture of complex systems or platforms
• ▹Understanding of distributed systems, API design, microservices and integrations
• ▹Experience with cloud technologies and deployment patterns
• ▹Knowledge of architecture documentation and best practices
• ▹Ability to structure requirements technically and make decisions

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with AI-based vibecoding and agents
• ▹Experience with energy management systems, IoT data flows or smart grid protocols
• ▹Experience operating or designing high-availability platforms
• ▹Knowledge of scalability, fault tolerance and observability
• ▹Experience with container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes), cloud platforms or CI/CD pipelines
