IT Administrator - SAP Workload Automation (Part-time)

Responsibilities

• ▹Plan, create, and administer SAP background jobs and job chains within the central workload automation environment
• ▹Monitor, analyze, and recover failed SAP background jobs as part of daily operations
• ▹Handle incidents in 1st and 2nd level support for SAP background jobs, including error analysis, escalation, and job configuration optimization
• ▹Plan, execute, and monitor SAP archiving jobs
• ▹Design and implement new automation solutions in Streamworks for SAP and archiving processes
• ▹Actively contribute to the further development of the group-wide scheduling and automation platform
• ▹Work closely with international colleagues at the Bamberg and Pune sites

Requirements

• ▹Degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification
• ▹Good SAP knowledge, especially in SAP Background Processing (job scheduling, monitoring, error analysis) and Application Support
• ▹Experience with job scheduling and workload automation tools (e.g. Automic Automation, BMC Control-M, AutomateNOW!, Streamworks), or alternatively solid SAP knowledge in logistics, production, or application management with an interest in automation topics
• ▹Willingness to learn the Streamworks scheduling solution used at Brose
• ▹Analytical thinking, structured and solution-oriented way of working
• ▹Very good German and English skills

Nice to have

• ▹Experience in monitoring and incident management, ideally with tools like Microsoft SCOM
