IT Administrator - SAP Workload Automation (Part-time)

The Brose Group has been shaping the future of mobility for over 100 years. This IT Administrator role is responsible for SAP background processes and the central workload automation environment, part-time, working closely with colleagues in Bamberg and Pune.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, and administer SAP background jobs and job chains within the central workload automation environment
  • Monitor, analyze, and recover failed SAP background jobs as part of daily operations
  • Handle incidents in 1st and 2nd level support for SAP background jobs, including error analysis, escalation, and job configuration optimization
  • Plan, execute, and monitor SAP archiving jobs
  • Design and implement new automation solutions in Streamworks for SAP and archiving processes
  • Actively contribute to the further development of the group-wide scheduling and automation platform
  • Work closely with international colleagues at the Bamberg and Pune sites

Requirements

  • Degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification
  • Good SAP knowledge, especially in SAP Background Processing (job scheduling, monitoring, error analysis) and Application Support
  • Experience with job scheduling and workload automation tools (e.g. Automic Automation, BMC Control-M, AutomateNOW!, Streamworks), or alternatively solid SAP knowledge in logistics, production, or application management with an interest in automation topics
  • Willingness to learn the Streamworks scheduling solution used at Brose
  • Analytical thinking, structured and solution-oriented way of working
  • Very good German and English skills

Nice to have

  • Experience in monitoring and incident management, ideally with tools like Microsoft SCOM
