Responsibilities

• ▹Collaborate with stakeholders and program sponsors to develop goals and prioritize deliverables
• ▹Manage multiple small programs of moderate complexity, or a single complex program/technology
• ▹Develop and manage execution of the program Plan of Record (schedule, resource forecasting, stakeholder identification, communication, scope, prioritization)
• ▹Track key metrics and identify deviations, escalating issues and proposing corrective actions
• ▹Manage and prioritize the work of the program team (schedules, task assignments, tracking)
• ▹Identify program risks and create mitigation plans; maintain the risk tracker
• ▹Promote program vision and objectives within the team
• ▹Apply best practices and identify process-improvement opportunities
• ▹Work with the software product management team to define an end-to-end software strategy
• ▹Drive an ecosystem of third-party software developers, identifying opportunities for software reuse

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field + 4-8+ years of program management or related experience (depending on level)
• ▹Required to work onsite in San Diego, 5 days a week
• ▹Not eligible for Qualcomm immigration sponsorship
• ▹Understanding of software stacks and Linux-based distributions
• ▹Ability to work independently with little supervision
• ▹Ability to convey complex, detailed information to audiences with differing knowledge levels

Nice to have

• ▹Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
• ▹7+ years of program management experience in semiconductor, telecommunications or developer ecosystem industries
• ▹3+ years of engineering, product or program management experience on x86 or ARM platforms
• ▹3+ years of experience working with senior leadership (Director level and above)
• ▹2+ years of engineering experience on AI products
