Senior Director of Product Management, Windows API Platform

Responsibilities

• ▹Conduct thorough market and technical competitive analysis of Qualcomm's existing API offerings and gaps
• ▹Work with internal teams to map the Qualcomm software stack and APIs across IP blocks (Camera, A/V, NPU, LPI, GPU, GPS)
• ▹Define a comprehensive API/SDK product roadmap and align across IP software teams
• ▹Execute the roadmap working with product, engineering, program, and marketing stakeholders
• ▹Develop a go-to-market strategy for developers through SDK and driver updates, partnering with Microsoft, OEMs, and developers
• ▹Deliver product launch presentations at conferences and in direct customer engagements

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field
• ▹8+ years of Product Management or related work experience
• ▹15+ years of product management experience with APIs, SDKs, and developer products (preferred)
• ▹Hands-on experience developing Windows APIs and key IP technologies such as Camera, Audio, Video, AI
• ▹Relevant knowledge of the x86/Windows ecosystem, AI/Gen-AI technologies, developer tools and frameworks

Nice to have

• ▹Experience managing, influencing, and negotiating within a large matrixed organization
• ▹Knowledge of embedded technologies: CPU/GPU/codecs
