Senior Engineer - Qualcomm - UK - Remote

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Architect, design, implement, verify and optimize the structure and performance of critical GPU hardware, drivers, features, applications and tools
• ▹Write code for complex features, drivers and APIs using different languages (C, C++, Perl, Python) ensuring cross-platform performance
• ▹Develop and maintain comprehensive pre- and post-silicon tests using advanced tools and methods (simulation, emulation, on-device)
• ▹Identify deficiencies and propose solutions to improve designs; implement quality improvements in industry standard APIs and GPU hardware
• ▹Collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, external stakeholders (developers, standards groups) and/or third-party vendors on new features
• ▹Write detailed design documentation and feature descriptions for complex projects

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering experience (or Master's + 1 year, or PhD)
• ▹2+ years of academic or work experience with a programming language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Nice to have

• ▹Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
• ▹2+ years of relevant GPU experience
• ▹1+ year of experience working in a large matrixed organization
• ▹1+ year of work experience interacting with senior leadership (Director and above)
