Senior Software Engineer – SAP FI/CO, SD/MM (ABAP)

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, develop and implement SAP ABAP solutions in the FI/CO environment
• ▹Adapt and maintain interfaces such as SFTP and IDoc/ALE in collaboration with internal and external integration partners
• ▹Develop and maintain SAP forms using SAPScript and Smart Forms
• ▹Contribute to continuous enhancements within an SAP R/3 FI landscape
• ▹Perform independent root-cause analysis and resolution as part of 3rd level support
• ▹Analyze ABAP programs, customizing settings and business-relevant data structures
• ▹Continuously improve end-to-end SAP business processes, especially accounting, receivables management, bank statement processing, reporting and balance sheets

Requirements

• ▹University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or comparable field
• ▹8–10 years of relevant professional experience in a comparable SAP environment
• ▹Strong hands-on experience in SAP FI (GL, AR, AP, AA), as well as CO, SD and MM
• ▹Advanced SAP ABAP development expertise and solid SAP customizing experience
• ▹In-depth understanding of end-to-end SAP business processes, particularly accounting, receivables management, bank statement processing, reporting and balance sheets
• ▹Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong customer-oriented mindset
• ▹Very good technical understanding of complex, integrated system landscapes
• ▹Experience working in agile environments and integrating into a DevOps-oriented team
• ▹Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
