Python QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop and document test cases and test plans
• ▹Develop in-house automation frameworks and tools
• ▹Perform SQL-based data quality checks
• ▹Execute manual and automated tests
• ▹Maintain existing automated test suites
• ▹Perform functional and regression testing
• ▹Develop automated Web UI and API tests
• ▹Analyze and evaluate test results
• ▹Maintain test documentation and test data

Requirements

• ▹Minimum 3 years of experience in QA or development
• ▹At least 1.5 years of automated testing experience in any programming language (Python is an advantage)
• ▹Experience testing REST APIs
• ▹SQL knowledge (MySQL/MariaDB/MongoDB)
• ▹Knowledge of Linux environments and shell scripting
• ▹Experience with version control systems
• ▹Experience in a CI/CD environment (Selenium, Appium an advantage)
• ▹Knowledge of XML
• ▹Basic knowledge of Python or PHP
• ▹Excellent English language skills
• ▹At least 2 years of collaboration with US-based teams and time zones

Nice to have

• ▹Writing complex backend queries for validation purposes
• ▹Generating test reports
• ▹Identifying potential defects and proposing development improvements
• ▹Proactively clarifying requirements
