Embedded Release Automation Team Lead

Responsibilities

• ▹Manage the end-to-end software release process, including branch management, version control, release note documentation, and communication with internal and external collaborators
• ▹Drive release automation by enhancing CI/CD pipelines and defect logging/tracking for releases
• ▹Line manage a distributed team of test engineers

Requirements

• ▹Proven leadership and line management experience with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• ▹Strong proficiency in scripting and automation using Python and Bash
• ▹Experience managing and executing software releases to meet scope, schedule and quality targets
• ▹Ability to automate the release process with CI/CD tools, ideally GitLab CI
• ▹Experience using Linux, including basic system administration and networking

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with software build systems for embedded platforms, such as Yocto and CMake
• ▹Familiarity with Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) practices
• ▹Awareness of software supply chain compliance (software component analysis, open-source licenses, SBOMs)
