IT Product Owner Global Value, Access and Pricing

Product Owner • Vor Ort • Vollzeit Spanien Mollet del Valles, Spanien

Your Role: At the intersection of healthcare strategy and digital innovation, you will shape and scale the digital, data, analytics, and AI-enabled product portfolio for Global Value, Access and Pricing (GVAP) — a high-visibility area where technology directly influences how life-changing therapies reach patients worldwide.
In this role, you will translate business priorities into scalable digital and AI-enabled capabilities that improve value strategy, payer insights, pricing decisions, access planning, and evidence-based stakeholder engagement. You will connect business stakeholders, IT delivery teams, Data and Analytics and AI teams, and external partners around a clear product vision, outcome-oriented roadmap, and well-prioritized backlog.
Bringing strong product ownership capabilities and delivery coordination skills, you will guide digital and data-driven initiatives from ideation through deployment, adoption, and value realization. You will uncover high-value opportunities within GVAP processes, shape how AI-enabled capabilities — including GenAI and emerging Agentic AI where relevant — improve how teams work globally, and ensure innovation translates into measurable efficiency gains, better decision-making, and tangible business impact.
This position is fully remote and can be performed from anywhere in Spain.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and continuously evolve the product vision and roadmap across digital, data, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions, including GenAI and Agentic AI where relevant.
Lead discovery with business stakeholders to identify, validate, and scale high-value opportunities that improve business processes, define success measures, and support adoption across global, regional, and country teams.
Own and prioritize the product backlog, translate discovery insights into clear user stories, and drive sprint planning in Agile environments.
Coordinate delivery planning and execution across internal teams and external partners, ensuring priorities, roles, dependencies, risks, timelines, and commitments are clear, actively managed, and transparently reported.
Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Responsible AI, Cybersecurity, Data Privacy, and Compliance teams to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with enterprise standards.
Monitor adoption, solution performance, and business value against defined outcome metrics such as efficiency gains, decision quality, process cycle time, user adoption, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Who You Are
You bring at least 7 years of experience in digital or IT product ownership, software delivery, data and analytics product delivery, technology consulting, or related roles.
You have worked in business-facing IT within pharma, life sciences, or healthcare, ideally with exposure to market access, pricing, payer insights, access planning, or value strategy. Backgrounds in adjacent pharma domains are equally welcome, particularly where you bring strong international stakeholder management experience.
You have a strong track record as a Product Owner in digital, data, analytics, or AI-enabled products, with demonstrated ability to shape product direction, manage priorities, and collaborate across business and technical teams in Agile environments.
You are comfortable coordinating delivery across software development, data, analytics, and AI teams, with awareness of dependencies, risks, timelines, budget considerations, and external partner collaboration.
You know how to turn data into better decisions and are comfortable working with dashboards, reporting, data products, data quality, and governance topics.
You can spot high-value opportunities for AI — including GenAI and emerging Agentic AI capabilities — translate them into responsible and adoptable solutions, and partner with technology teams to assess feasibility, shape the right approach, and drive implementation toward measurable business impact.
You understand the importance of enterprise architecture, responsible AI, cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance, and know when to engage the right experts early.
You are energized by unclear problems and open questions, and naturally look for ways to turn them into practical improvements.
You can make complex technology, trade-offs, and risks understandable for senior stakeholders.
You hold a degree in Business, IT, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or bring equivalent professional experience. Relevant certifications in Product Ownership, Agile, Project Management, or AI are a plus.
You are fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
