Senior Software Engineer Factory Automation (f/m/div)

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and develop full-stack applications (C#/.NET, Angular, React) in a manufacturing environment
• ▹Replace legacy systems (MS Access, LabVIEW) with modern, scalable software solutions
• ▹Deploy and operate applications on OpenShift in containerized environments
• ▹Implement and further develop MES and QM system solutions at the Cegled site
• ▹Build and maintain reporting and monitoring dashboards using Grafana and Tableau
• ▹Develop and optimize databases with MSSQL, Oracle and PostgreSQL
• ▹Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot) to boost development efficiency
• ▹Perform log management and error analysis using the ELK Stack
• ▹Carry out independent requirements analysis in close alignment with production and business units
• ▹Collaborate closely and exchange technical knowledge with the partner team in Warstein, Germany

Requirements

• ▹Proven full-stack expertise: confident in the C#/.NET backend landscape and in building user experiences with Angular or React
• ▹Database mastery: designing, optimizing and scaling relational databases (MSSQL, Oracle or PostgreSQL)
• ▹Cloud-native mindset: shipped real-world solutions using Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift, owning the full deployment lifecycle
• ▹Structured and self-driven working style, taking ownership of requirements management and driving work forward independently
• ▹German or English proficiency (min. B2) for collaboration with the Warstein team

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with ELK Stack, Grafana or Tableau
• ▹Background in legacy application modernization (Access, LabVIEW, VBA)
• ▹Hands-on experience with AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT-based dev tools)
• ▹Understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial data structures
• ▹Experience in agile development environments (Scrum / Kanban)
• ▹Basic knowledge of IT security in industrial application contexts
