Lead Engineer Digital Manufacturing Solutions (f/m/div)

Responsibilities

• ▹Define and own the site DMS roadmap, aligned with business priorities and DMS objectives
• ▹Coordinate DMS activities across DMS, IT, Manufacturing and other key stakeholders
• ▹Design, prototype and deliver technical solutions and architectures for complex shopfloor environments
• ▹Build and continuously improve in-house applications using a modern stack (e.g. C#, React, Angular, OpenShift)
• ▹Scout and evaluate new technologies and tools and turn them into practical implementation recommendations
• ▹Identify and drive AI use cases in DMS (software development, automation, engineering productivity) and beyond where it creates business value
• ▹Select, introduce and improve monitoring and operations tooling where needed
• ▹Troubleshoot critical technical issues, lead root-cause analysis and implement preventive actions
• ▹Ensure systems are resilient, sustainable and recoverable, including backup and recovery concepts
• ▹Maintain, upgrade and enhance local applications and systems to keep them secure and reliable
• ▹Lead projects introducing new systems and technologies from concept to rollout
• ▹Build strong stakeholder partnerships and provide clear technical guidance and decision support
• ▹Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks and knowledge bases
• ▹Ensure stable, smooth day-to-day operation of DMS systems and services

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree in Software Development, IT or a related field
• ▹Solid hands-on coding experience, ideally in C#/.NET
• ▹Comfort working across Windows Server and Linux
• ▹Experience with databases such as Oracle or MS SQL
• ▹Familiarity with collaboration and delivery tools like Jira and Confluence (or similar)
• ▹Fluent Hungarian plus intermediate English and/or German

Nice to have

• ▹Exposure to industrial communication standards such as OPC UA, MQTT or SECS/GEM
• ▹Leadership potential: ambition to grow into people management and build a high-performing team
