IT Performance Manager

A role responsible for strengthening financial transparency, cost control and performance reporting across the IT organization, acting as a key interface between IT, Finance, Controlling and Procurement.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating IT budgeting, forecasting and planning processes across cost centers, projects, contracts and investment areas
  • Monitoring actuals against budget and forecast, analyzing deviations and preparing recommendations for management
  • Creating transparency on IT costs (personnel, external services, software, hardware, cloud, licenses, projects, vendor spend)
  • Developing analyses on cost drivers, trends, allocations and optimization opportunities
  • Using ERP and reporting systems to extract, validate and analyze financial data (cost centers, internal orders, projects, purchase orders, invoices, accruals, commitments)
  • Ensuring data quality and alignment with financial standards
  • Preparing regular IT financial performance reports, dashboards and management presentations
  • Supporting monthly and quarterly closing activities, investment tracking and financial governance

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration, Information Systems, Economics or a comparable field
  • Experience in financial controlling, IT controlling, business controlling or performance management
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cost controlling and management reporting
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle)

Nice to have

  • Understanding of IT cost structures, technology investments, software licensing, cloud costs and project controlling
  • Knowledge of SAP FI/CO, MM, PS, BW, S/4HANA or BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
