Regional IT Support Developer - MES focus

Responsibilities

• ▹Provide L3 code-level support for MES applications and other critical regional applications
• ▹Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues, including code, database, interface and integration problems
• ▹Participate in the regional support rotation to provide 24/7 coverage for critical MES applications
• ▹Actively participate in Major Incident calls for troubleshooting and fixing issues
• ▹Participate in follow-up Problem Management calls and provide feedback for identifying effective preventive actions
• ▹Build local environments for bug fixing and testing corrections
• ▹Analyze incidents, identify root causes and implement sustainable technical solutions
• ▹Develop, enhance and maintain application components using Angular, .NET, .NET Core, C#, SQL and RabbitMQ
• ▹Support MES ecosystem integrations with other business and manufacturing systems
• ▹Work closely with site SMEs, Digital Factory teams, IT support and infrastructure teams, DevOps and DBA colleagues, and regional/global counterparts
• ▹Participate in regional and cross-functional IT projects, providing technical expertise and development support
• ▹Create and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides and knowledge base articles
• ▹Propose and implement continuous improvements to increase application reliability, performance, supportability and user experience
• ▹Support application testing, deployment validation and post-release stabilization activities

Requirements

• ▹Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in application development and/or application support
• ▹Strong technical experience with Angular and TypeScript
• ▹.NET, .NET Core and C#
• ▹SQL
• ▹RabbitMQ
• ▹REST APIs
• ▹Azure DevOps and Git
• ▹EKS and Docker
• ▹AWS services
• ▹Proven experience in troubleshooting complex application issues
• ▹Ability to analyze logs, code, database queries, interfaces and application behavior to identify root causes
• ▹Experience supporting business-critical applications in a production environment
• ▹Understanding of the software development lifecycle, release management and incident/problem management processes
• ▹Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken
• ▹Ability to work with multicultural teams across multiple countries and time zones
• ▹Willingness to participate in the regional 24/7 support rotation
• ▹Willingness to travel regionally if required
• ▹Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Informatics or a related field

• ▹Experience with Jabil MES systems and the MES4.0 ecosystem

• ▹Understanding of manufacturing, shopfloor and business processes
• ▹Experience with application monitoring, logging and performance analysis
