IT Network Security Engineer – Advanced

Responsibilities

• ▹Perform daily operational activities, handling service requests and troubleshooting complex network issues
• ▹Design, implement, and optimize corporate firewall architecture for security, scalability, and high availability
• ▹Contribute to continuous improvement of network security infrastructure and processes
• ▹Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network security and DevOps automation best practices
• ▹Support deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of network security solutions
• ▹Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field
• ▹5–10+ years hands-on experience in Network Operations and/or Network Engineering
• ▹Strong technical foundation, ability to quickly learn new technologies
• ▹Proven experience in network security, including Cisco switching and routing
• ▹Solid troubleshooting skills combined with operational and engineering capabilities
• ▹Expertise in Fortinet firewall solutions (design, deployment, implementation)

Nice to have

• ▹Hands-on experience with FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer
• ▹Network automation and scripting tools (Python, Ansible, Nautobot)
• ▹DevOps mindset focused on automation and scalability
