Senior Frontend Developer

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Designing and developing complex Angular applications on the zenga.hu platform.
• ▹Making frontend architectural decisions (e.g. module structure, state management strategy, performance optimization).
• ▹Professionally preparing and coordinating the migration to React and Next.js, and defining the migration strategy.
• ▹Developing and maintaining a reusable component library and design system.
• ▹Designing backend API integrations using a contract-first approach.
• ▹Performing code reviews and defining frontend code quality standards.
• ▹Mentoring mid-level and junior colleagues.
• ▹Working closely with the Product, UX, and Backend teams.
• ▹Reducing technical debt and coordinating Angular version upgrades.
• ▹Maintaining the Nx monorepo structure, and developing shared libraries and build pipelines.
• ▹Developing and optimizing SSR solutions (Angular SSR, Express).

Requirements

• ▹At least 5 years of Angular development experience (Angular 12+).
• ▹Deep TypeScript knowledge (generics, decorators, type-driven development).
• ▹Experience with React (hooks, component lifecycle, state management).
• ▹Knowledge of Next.js (SSR, SSG, routing, App Router).
• ▹Advanced RxJS knowledge (custom operators, hot/cold observables, schedulers).
• ▹Experience with NgRx or a similar state management solution.
• ▹Confident application of Clean Code and SOLID principles.
• ▹Practical experience with Angular performance optimization (OnPush, Lazy Loading, Tree Shaking).
• ▹Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical topics clearly.
• ▹Advanced Git knowledge (rebase, cherry-pick, branching strategies).

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with Cypress-based E2E testing.
• ▹Knowledge of web accessibility (WCAG).
• ▹Experience with micro-frontend architecture (e.g. Module Federation).
• ▹Familiarity with Azure Static Web Apps or similar CDN/hosting platforms.
• ▹Experience shaping CI/CD pipelines from a frontend perspective.
• ▹Experience developing real estate platforms or high-traffic portals.
• ▹Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. Sentry, Application Insights).
• ▹Experience with identity management solutions (e.g. Keycloak).
• ▹Familiarity with mapping libraries (e.g. Leaflet).
