Responsibilities

• ▹Interpret vague requirements and develop models to solve real-world problems
• ▹Run ML experiments using machine learning libraries
• ▹Use generative AI to build innovative solutions
• ▹Optimise ML solutions for performance and scalability
• ▹Implement tailored machine learning code for specific needs
• ▹Ensure efficient data flow between databases and backend systems
• ▹MLOps: automate ML workflows (testing, reproducibility, feature and metadata storage)
• ▹Design ML architectures using Google Cloud tools and services
• ▹Build and deploy production-grade software for AI and data-driven solutions
• ▹Build trusted relationships with prospects, scope projects and oversee delivery

Requirements

• ▹Multiple years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, preferably with a consulting background
• ▹Python as a backend language, delivering production-ready code in well-tested CI/CD pipelines
• ▹Familiarity with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS or Azure)
• ▹Hands-on experience with foundational software engineering practices
• ▹Strong SQL knowledge
• ▹Experience scaling computations using GPUs or distributed computing
• ▹Exposing ML components through web services or wrappers (e.g. Flask in Python)
• ▹Strong communication and presentation skills

Nice to have

• ▹Scale-up experience
• ▹Cloud certifications (e.g. Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect)
