Senior/Staff AI Engineer - Remote Care

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, ship and operate production-grade agentic systems with strong observability, fallback mechanisms and fail-safe behaviors
• ▹Build and improve AI agents, orchestration systems and core agentic capabilities including memory, reasoning, tool adapters and multi-agent coordination
• ▹Partner with Machine Learning Engineers to design and implement evaluation pipelines, security/safety guardrails and metrics
• ▹Own performance, observability and security: monitoring dashboards, SLO/SLI definition and security posture, with a focus on medical data sensitivity
• ▹Contribute to full-stack development when needed to deliver end-to-end features for healthcare professionals
• ▹Mentor and enable software engineers to build confidently in an agentic AI world

Requirements

• ▹4+ years of experience as a software engineer, with hands-on experience in AI/ML systems, including the full lifecycle of an AI product from evaluation and launch to production iterations
• ▹2+ years of experience with Python and AI/ML engineering practices including automated testing, CI/CD and DevOps ("you build it, you run it")
• ▹Comfortable with full-stack development, including React/TypeScript or Kotlin when needed
• ▹Product-oriented and able to guide teammates on trade-offs between business needs and technical constraints
• ▹Fluent English in day-to-day work with the team

Nice to have

• ▹Experience building multi-agent systems or working with agent development frameworks
• ▹Experience with AI products for enterprise or professional users
• ▹Experience in the medical domain, healthcare tech, or regulated AI-based SaMD (Software as Medical Device)
