Senior infrastructure engineering role focused on designing, building, and optimizing scalable, automated network infrastructure for a Telco environment, with deep Juniper expertise and self-healing network architectures.
Responsibilities
- ▹Build resilient, scalable networks using BGP, OSPF, and GRE tunnels for Layer 2/3 architectures
- ▹Implement and oversee automated network provisioning (Ansible, Terraform, Python, Bash)
- ▹Develop disaster recovery plans and high-availability solutions
- ▹Proactively monitor and optimize infrastructure using open-source and AI-driven tools
- ▹Collaborate on shaping technology roadmaps
- ▹Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support teams
Requirements
- ▹Experience in infrastructure engineering, with significant time in Telco Operator environments
- ▹Advanced IPv4/IPv6 deployment knowledge, dual-stack environments, Telco-scale troubleshooting
- ▹Deep Linux systems administration expertise (kernel optimization, virtualization, security hardening)
- ▹Strong BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and advanced routing experience
- ▹Extensive experience with Juniper platforms (MX, EX/QFX, SRX)
- ▹Juniper certifications (JNCIA, JNCIP, JNCIE) or equivalent
- ▹Proficiency in Ansible, Terraform, Python, Bash, or Perl
- ▹Performance tuning of network infrastructure, including MySQL clustering and distributed systems
- ▹Experience with Git, Subversion, and modern DevOps methodologies
Nice to have
- ▹Hands-on container orchestration experience (Kubernetes, Docker)
- ▹Advanced Linux routing knowledge, including policy routing and TCP offload on SmartNICs
