Staff Developer (Front-End)

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead cross-functional technical projects, build and review architectures across squads (PHP, React, TypeScript stack)
• ▹Set and drive coding standards, technical processes, and tooling across engineering
• ▹Prioritize and carry multiple projects from start to finish, balancing quality, stability, and delivery
• ▹Set a high quality bar through code review and mentoring, improving the codebase
• ▹Promote open, collaborative architecture and technical pattern discussions across teams

Requirements

• ▹8+ years of SaaS application development experience with a track record of leading technical initiatives
• ▹Close collaboration with other Staff engineers on foundational engineering decisions and product development
• ▹Previously held a Staff Developer or higher title
• ▹Full-stack, hands-on, coding daily, while also guiding system-wide decisions
• ▹Experience architecting complex systems balancing performance, scale, and developer experience
• ▹Close collaboration with Product and UX/UI Designers
• ▹Serious observability chops — building, teaching, and scaling it across teams
• ▹Comfortable with AI tooling for generating components, tests, or code review
• ▹Thrives in ambiguity, operating from system architecture down to pair programming with juniors
• ▹Effective delegation and unblocking teams
