Software Engineer III

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, build and maintain full-stack features across a Python/Flask backend and TypeScript/React frontend
• ▹Build scalable API-first architecture and service patterns for third-party integrations
• ▹Build and maintain integrations connecting Mayhem with customer systems, security tools and workflow engines
• ▹Ensure consistent service patterns and strong interface/performance guarantees
• ▹Improve internal engineering tools supporting security triage and vulnerability workflows
• ▹Collaborate with designers using the bugcrowd.design system
• ▹Ensure high accessibility, stability and performance across integration workflows

Requirements

• ▹3+ years of full-stack software development experience, ideally in a product-focused environment
• ▹Experience in the cybersecurity domain
• ▹Strong backend API development skills (Python/Flask) and frontend skills (TypeScript/React)
• ▹Background in agile delivery, backlog management and stakeholder communication
• ▹Excellent problem-solving, prioritization and decision-making skills
• ▹Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with Rust (used in some internal CLIs)
• ▹Experience with GCP and/or AWS, GitHub Actions, and Keycloak
