Manager, Security Operations

The Manager, Security Operations leads a team of Security Consultants and is responsible for the timely and accurate triage, validation, and resolution of security submissions, combining strong technical foundations with proven people leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Security Consultants through regular feedback and career development
  • Serve as subject matter expert in at least one security specialty (web, network, cloud, or mobile)
  • Demonstrate expertise across all vulnerability submission types, support complex escalations and appeals
  • Drive operational excellence: measure team performance, identify automation opportunities, implement process improvements
  • Plan, prioritize and manage team workloads while adapting to changing business needs
  • Build cross-functional partnerships to improve workflows and customer outcomes

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Security Operations, Application Security, Incident Response, or Vulnerability Management
  • Previous experience leading, supervising, or mentoring technical teams
  • Strong understanding of common vulnerability classes, including the OWASP Top 10
  • Experience with incident response, vulnerability triage, and validation
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Nice to have

  • OSCP or comparable security certification, or equivalent offensive security experience
  • Experience using Python to automate workflows
  • Experience using Tableau or similar BI tools for dashboards

What we offer

  • Base pay range: $129,280–$161,600 (US national average)
  • Eligible for discretionary bonus or commission plan
