Intermediate Software Developer

Responsibilities

• ▹Deliver solutions covering all agreed-specified tasks and user objectives
• ▹Ensure checked-in code is reviewed to meet standards
• ▹Successfully develop, deliver, and maintain high-quality software
• ▹Maintain accurate timesheets for all work performed
• ▹Maintain code stored in multiple source control systems
• ▹Ensure the solution supports ease of modification for future maintainers
• ▹Continuously improve existing products and/or systems and services
• ▹Analyze program performance and correct deficiencies
• ▹Conduct peer code reviews
• ▹Maintain confidentiality regarding information processed, stored, or accessed
• ▹Contribute to quality activities including peer reviews and bug resolution
• ▹Conduct functional testing
• ▹Incorporate automated testing, performance testing, and iterative development
• ▹Provide quick resolutions to app/system issues
• ▹Assess risk and impact of production issues/changes
• ▹Offer assistance and mentorship to junior developers
• ▹Direct third-party development partners

Requirements

• ▹3-5 years of professional or other practical experience
• ▹Backend: C#, Java
• ▹Frontend: HTML, JavaScript, Angular and React
• ▹Framework: .NET Framework, .NET Core, .NET 6+
• ▹Database: SQL Server, MySQL or Oracle
• ▹Web services (RESTful or WCF)
• ▹Entity Framework and Dapper
• ▹Unit and integration testing
• ▹Tools: Git, Visual Studio 2019 or later
• ▹Strong understanding of fundamental software development concepts, practices, and procedures
• ▹Capable of interpreting user requirements and translating them into technical specifications and code
• ▹High numerical reasoning, logical ability, and excellent problem-solving skills
• ▹Proven experience using Test-Driven Development (TDD)

Nice to have

• ▹Proven experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, and/or Extreme Programming methodologies
• ▹NoSQL databases (CosmosDB, MongoDB)
• ▹Experience working with Agile teams and delivering Agile-based software projects
• ▹Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, JIRA, Jenkins, automated build servers
• ▹Microsoft certifications: AZ-900, AZ-204, AI-900, AZ-104
• ▹Microsoft Certification
• ▹Tertiary Qualification
