Senior Software Engineer, Autopilot

Responsibilities

• ▹Full-stack development for Autopilot in TypeScript, Python or C#
• ▹Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of your code
• ▹Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
• ▹Plan, design, develop and test software systems or applications
• ▹Help maintain code quality, organization and automation
• ▹Work closely with small, nimble, cross-functional product and marketing teams to launch the platform
• ▹Architect a codebase that is reusable and can evolve with the product

Requirements

• ▹6+ years of experience coding, with strong, production-level experience in TypeScript (or JavaScript), Python and/or C#
• ▹Strong grasp of object-oriented programming and architectural design patterns
• ▹The ability to promptly transform a set of functional/UX requirements into a working product
• ▹Knowledge of multithreading, synchronization, asynchronous programming and test frameworks
• ▹Knowledge of basic data structures (list, vector, stack, heap), basic algorithms (sort, search, etc.) and associated time/memory complexity

Nice to have

• ▹Previous experience working as a software engineer on an AI product, with some experience in Python
• ▹Prompt engineering knowledge
