Linux/UNIX Systems Engineer (2–4 Years Experience)

Job Overview We are seeking motivated Linux/UNIX Systems Engineers with 2–4 years of hands-on experience supporting, administering, and maintaining Linux/UNIX environments. The ideal candidate should have experience working with modern infrastructure technologies, cloud platforms, automation tools, and DevOps practices. Candidates must be open to relocating anywhere within the United States based on project requirements. Location: Open to Relocation Anywhere in the United States Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract (W2) Key Responsibilities Install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot Linux/UNIX servers. Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, patching, and upgrades. Support production and non-production Linux environments. Automate routine administrative tasks using Shell, Bash, or Python scripting. Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Manage virtualization technologies including VMware or Hyper-V. Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, Networking, and Security teams. Configure and maintain web servers, application servers, and file systems. Monitor system health using enterprise monitoring tools. Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and system optimization. Follow security best practices and compliance standards.
