Senior Cloud Orchestration Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, configure and further develop the Morpheus cloud orchestrator and its IT infrastructure requirements
• ▹Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code to automatically produce Morpheus instances and configurations
• ▹Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with Morpheus and its infrastructure integrations
• ▹Implement security (Techspecs/CIS/STIG) and ensure compliance with cloud orchestration best practices
• ▹Carry out and maintain test and acceptance management
• ▹Document and maintain configurations and procedures (configuration, management and security dossiers)
• ▹Work closely with the Networking, Nutanix Virtualisation, Operating Systems, DNS-DHCP-IP, Active Directory, ServiceNow (ITSM) and Ansible Automation Platform teams so that VMs, container infrastructure, networking and storage services are provisioned automatically

Requirements

• ▹At least 8 years of Linux system administration experience
• ▹RHCSA and RHCE certified
• ▹CKA certified
• ▹Strong knowledge of cloud management
• ▹Experience with Ansible scripting (playbooks)
• ▹Experience with scripting and automation (e.g. GitLab, Python, Terraform, REST API)
• ▹Proven experience programming Infrastructure as Code
• ▹Experience with virtualisation and orchestration (e.g. Nutanix Cloud Clustering / Morpheus or similar such as AWS / Azure)
• ▹Strong knowledge of network protocols and security principles
• ▹At least 5 years of proven experience in a cloud environment
• ▹At least 5 years of proven experience in enterprise environments (more than 5,000 employees)
• ▹Dutch nationality and a Dutch passport (required to work for the Ministry of Defence)
• ▹Able to speak and write Dutch

Nice to have

• ▹Proven experience with Nutanix
• ▹Proven experience with AWS / Azure or comparable clouds
• ▹One or more cloud technology certifications
