Senior OpenShift Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Build the container platform together with colleagues
• ▹Be the go-to expert for first- and second-line support
• ▹Work with development teams, giving technical guidance on container onboarding and server security projects
• ▹Keep the configuration up to date and secure
• ▹Watch the performance and availability of the IT infrastructure, analyse potential problems and propose improvements and solutions
• ▹Dive into complex architecture and security when needed
• ▹Provide occasional third-line support to IT infrastructure teams

Requirements

• ▹At least 8 years of experience with scripting or programming
• ▹A critical eye based on your engineering experience
• ▹Hands-on experience with Linux, Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, TCP networking
• ▹Dutch nationality and a Dutch passport (required to work for the Ministry of Defence)
• ▹Able to speak and write Dutch

Nice to have

• ▹Onboarding nodes in an OpenShift cluster
• ▹OpenShift system integration
• ▹IaaS and cloud knowledge
• ▹Ansible or Bamboo system configuration tools
• ▹Scripting in Perl, Python, shell, Ruby and/or Power CLI
• ▹ITIL processes
