Responsibilities

• ▹Take part in the operation, maintenance and development processes of an established banking core system
• ▹Handle service requests, incidents and application management activities
• ▹Read, understand and modify code

Requirements

• ▹Knowledge of COBOL as primary programming language
• ▹Fluency in English (written and verbal)
• ▹4-7 years of application operation, maintenance and/or programming experience in the banking/financial sector
• ▹3 years of practice in relational database programming, preferably DB2
• ▹Experience in the z/OS environment: JCL, TSO
• ▹Experience in program development using TSO/ISPF and COBOL
• ▹Experience in database programming techniques including SQL and IMS/DLI
• ▹Understanding of the architecture and operation of a banking core system
• ▹Experience with the Easytrieve report generator
• ▹Experience with the ITX/WTX data transformation tool
• ▹Bachelor's degree (IT or banking related)

Nice to have

• ▹Master's degree
• ▹Knowledge of Finnish
• ▹Experience with ITIL
