Senior Engineer II – Windows Sensor (Remote, EUR)

Responsibilities

• ▹Take part in Windows kernel-mode sensor development: architecture, strategy, building and improving next-generation anti-virus and endpoint detection and response software
• ▹Develop new product concepts
• ▹Support development teams in designing and building cross-platform (Windows, Mac, Linux) software
• ▹Own features from design to delivery, including the product demo at the end of the sprint
• ▹Collaborate with multi-functional teams in various locations
• ▹Lead projects while maximizing performance and minimizing cost, keeping high standards in design, coding quality, and unit and component testing

Requirements

• ▹In-depth knowledge of C++ and Windows OS kernel development
• ▹Strong low-level OS internals knowledge in Windows, macOS or Linux
• ▹Experience debugging memory corruptions, process contention and system performance
• ▹Experience working with teams to ship major features and releases
• ▹Ability to lead, mentor and communicate effectively in a distributed team

Nice to have

• ▹OS subsystem expertise such as WFP, TCP/IP, USB, file systems
• ▹Knowledge of security
• ▹Background in scalable, lightweight, high-performing systems
• ▹Familiarity with Agile processes
• ▹Familiarity with source control systems such as Git
