Responsibilities

• ▹Contribute to the team's projects and goals in day-to-day work
• ▹Participate in an on-call rotation (a requirement of this role)
• ▹Work collaboratively and proactively with the team and stakeholders, creating visibility around risks and trade-offs
• ▹Balance speed and quality to hit business goals while protecting systems from downtime

Requirements

• ▹Previous work or internship experience designing and developing backend systems at scale using Python or Kotlin
• ▹Familiarity with the building blocks of distributed systems and technologies (cloud infrastructure, relational databases, Kubernetes)
• ▹Ability to turn a simple problem or business scenario into a solution spanning multiple software components, writing clear, well-tested, extensible code
• ▹Comfortable navigating a large codebase, debugging others' code, and giving feedback in code reviews
• ▹Ownership of your own growth, proactively seeking feedback from team, manager, and stakeholders
• ▹Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with a global engineering team
