Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Collaborate with stakeholders and decision-makers to prioritize, design and fulfill data analytics needs
• ▹Identify KPIs driving business growth and performance with business teams
• ▹Design and build data products (pipelines, data models, analysis) across the data stack
• ▹Help garner trust in data by documenting analytics best practices and assisting with discoverability, governance and accuracy
• ▹Promote a self-service data culture by building easy-to-use analytics products and teaching users
• ▹Communicate progress, risks and completion of projects to stakeholders

Requirements

• ▹3-5 years hands-on experience in BI or Analytics teams
• ▹Experience with cloud data warehouse technologies (BigQuery a plus)
• ▹Logical and analytical thinking, eye for detail-oriented analysis and design
• ▹Hands-on experience building and managing data transformations (dbt a plus)
• ▹Ability to craft functional, user-friendly data products for technical and non-technical stakeholders
• ▹Experience with a data visualization tool (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Mode)
• ▹SQL power user capable of complex, efficient, logical SQL
• ▹Functional knowledge of financial, sales, or other core business metrics
