Full Stack Engineer

As a Full Stack Engineer on the Partnerships Integration team, you'll build and maintain integrations with high-profile partners such as Capital One, Shopify, and Fiserv, bringing Melio's platform capabilities to partners and helping small businesses manage payments more efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain integrations with high-profile partners (Capital One, Shopify, Fiserv)
  • Create custom solutions for partners, helping small businesses manage payments more efficiently
  • Work across the full stack: building APIs and integrating external systems
  • Build REST APIs used internally and externally, and new products based on them
  • Collaborate with team members on current issues and future improvements, write code for new features and bug fixes, conduct code reviews, deploy updates
  • Collaborate with internal teams and partner stakeholders to ensure the system is robust, scalable, and meets partner requirements

Requirements

  • 4-5+ years of professional software engineering experience, frontend and backend
  • 1+ years hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript
  • Experience with at least one of React/Vue/Angular
  • Experience working on an API as a product, or other products for engineers
  • Familiarity with AWS, Lambda, and cloud architecture
  • Familiarity with production systems and web product architecture
  • Independent, fast learner, excited about new technologies
  • Proactive team player with a desire to impact the team, product and customers

Nice to have

  • Experience with GraphQL and MySQL (part of the team's tech stack)
  • Experience with AWS Lambda-based microservices
