Senior Solution Engineer - Defense Industrial Base (DIB)

Responsibilities

• ▹Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers
• ▹Demonstrate and communicate Snowflake's value hands-on throughout the sales cycle, from demo to POC to implementation
• ▹Maintain deep understanding of competitive/complementary technologies and how to position Snowflake
• ▹Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve products and marketing

Requirements

• ▹7-8 years of industry experience with a minimum of 5 years in pre-sales
• ▹Experience engaging Defense Industrial Base (DIB) accounts, including contracting landscape, security requirements, and buying dynamics
• ▹Outstanding presentation skills for technical and executive audiences, whiteboard or formal demos
• ▹Broad experience with database/data warehouse technology, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies (Data Lake, Data Mesh, Data Fabric)
• ▹Hands-on expertise with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python
• ▹Ability to connect customer business problems with Snowflake's solutions
• ▹Ability to do deep discovery of a customer's architecture and map it to Snowflake's data architecture
• ▹Proactive curiosity about the AI landscape as a technical thought partner for customers
• ▹Proven ability to leverage AI code generation tools to boost productivity
• ▹University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field, or equivalent experience

Nice to have

• ▹Master's in Data Science or Business Administration
• ▹Experience with GSIs such as EY, Deloitte, or Accenture
