Job Title SDET III / Senior Quality Engineer Location: Cincinnati, OH (Downtown) Job Type: Hybrid / Onsite (Schedule to be confirmed) Experience Required: 5–15+ Years Job Summary We are seeking an experienced SDET III / Senior Quality Engineer to join a cross-functional Agile team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on automation engineer with strong experience in UI, API, backend, and database testing. This role involves designing automation frameworks, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting complex issues, mentoring junior engineers, and driving quality across the SDLC. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and reusable components. Create and execute automated tests across UI, API, backend, and database layers. Develop automation using Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript . Integrate automated test suites into Jenkins or similar CI/CD pipelines. Monitor pipeline executions and investigate automation or application failures. Perform REST API testing using Postman, REST Assured, SuperTest, or similar tools. Validate backend data using SQL queries. Utilize Docker for containerized testing environments. Execute regression, integration, system, exploratory, performance, and release validation testing. Perform basic security testing aligned with OWASP Top 10 principles. Troubleshoot flaky tests and improve automation reliability. Collaborate with developers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts throughout Agile sprints. Mentor junior Quality Engineers through code reviews and technical guidance. Report quality metrics, defects, release risks, and testing progress.
