Responsibilities

• ▹Work with a wide range of systems, processes, and technologies to own and solve problems end-to-end
• ▹Craft new products and features that impact millions of people and businesses around the world
• ▹Explore creative opportunities for next-gen payments experiences leveraging Stripe's payment technology
• ▹Collaborate with stakeholders across product, design, infrastructure, marketing, and operations
• ▹Develop and execute against short- and long-term roadmaps
• ▹Make effective tradeoffs considering business priorities, user experience, and a sustainable technical foundation
• ▹Uphold high engineering standards and bring consistency to the many codebases and processes encountered

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field, plus 3 years of software development experience
• ▹3 years of experience with Ruby and Java
• ▹3 years of experience with JavaScript or TypeScript
• ▹3 years designing, building, and maintaining robust, versioned RESTful or GraphQL APIs for internal and external consumers
• ▹3 years working with NoSQL databases, including MongoDB
• ▹3 years of automated testing practices, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
• ▹3 years of development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of software products and features
