Responsibilities

• ▹Data warehouse performance: push the limits of warehouse speed, performance and interactivity, optimize queries, store pre-computed state and investigate warehouse-specific improvements
• ▹Analytics and experimentation: help customers build segments and decide what data to sync, facilitate experimentation to downstream tools and track the performance of different audiences
• ▹Real-time audience syncing: explore real-time audience computation and syncing as warehouses become more real-time and adopt technologies like CDC
• ▹Generative AI: make the experience of acting on data more seamless
• ▹Design backend and distributed systems with a holistic view of architecture, scalability, maintainability and reliability
• ▹Write and engage with product specs

Requirements

• ▹Comfort diving deep into backend and distributed systems
• ▹Holistic thinking about architecture, scalability, maintainability and reliability
• ▹Strong customer and product thinking, comfortable working with product specs
• ▹Passion for hard technical problems, high ownership and comfort in a startup environment
