Staff Technical Product Manager, Ads ML Platform

Responsibilities

• ▹Shape the long-term strategy and roadmap for Reddit's Ads ML platform
• ▹Build tooling that reduces friction for ML engineers and data scientists
• ▹Partner closely with Engineering, Data Science and Ads Product teams
• ▹Own KPIs around platform reliability, latency, cost-efficiency and adoption
• ▹Stay current with ML research and evaluate practical applications
• ▹Conduct user research with MLEs, turning pain points into product requirements

Requirements

• ▹7+ years of product management experience with internal technical products, dev tools, or data/ML platforms
• ▹Deeply analytical, technical background with complex data systems
• ▹Understanding of the full ML lifecycle (training, inference, deployment, monitoring)
• ▹Exceptional problem-solving skills translating technical constraints into roadmaps
• ▹Strong communication skills bridging technical and business stakeholders

Nice to have

• ▹Prior experience as an ML engineer, data scientist, or backend engineer
• ▹Understanding of the Ad Tech ecosystem (bidding, ranking, targeting)
• ▹Experience with Generative AI/LLM workflow systems (agentic automation, prompt iteration, fine-tuning, RAG)
