Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer, GenAI Platform

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead the vision, strategy and roadmap for the GenAI Platform
• ▹Build a unified LLM Gateway for internal/external LLMs with rate/token limits and failover
• ▹Shape Reddit's approach to an enterprise-grade RAG system
• ▹Set strategic direction for agentic AI workflows and tool-use patterns
• ▹Drive MLOps/LLMOps standards across CI/CD, testing, versioning and evaluation
• ▹Define best practices for observability, monitoring and governance

Requirements

• ▹10+ years in ML Engineering, AI Platform Engineering or Cloud AI Deployment roles
• ▹Track record leading technical strategy and delivering AI platforms at scale
• ▹Deep experience operating Kubernetes and orchestration systems in production
• ▹Experience with cloud ML platform technologies (AWS, GCS, Terraform)
• ▹Proficiency in Python and Go
• ▹Excellent communication of technical AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have

• ▹Strong knowledge of model serving, inference pipelines and observability
