Responsibilities

• ▹Designing, implementing, and maintaining backend and frontend components of NavVis IVION, ensuring performance, reliability, and ease of use
• ▹Developing and extending the Java/Spring-based application server and Angular/TypeScript web client, powering 3D visualization, mapping, and data management
• ▹Contributing to the evolution of the PostgreSQL/PostGIS data layer that stores and processes geospatial data at scale
• ▹Building and enhancing APIs that enable integration with third-party systems
• ▹Collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate user and business needs into technical solutions
• ▹Maintaining high engineering standards through code reviews, testing, and performance optimizations
• ▹Supporting and mentoring engineers with varying levels of experience, fostering knowledge sharing

Requirements

• ▹Substantial experience in software development (typically 7+ years), with a proven track record delivering complex systems
• ▹Deep expertise in Java, Spring, Hibernate, and modern web application architectures
• ▹Advanced frontend experience with Angular and TypeScript
