Responsibilities

• ▹Lead and grow high-performing engineering teams, fostering a culture of ownership, continuous improvement and technical excellence
• ▹Coach and develop engineers through regular feedback, mentorship and career development in an inclusive, collaborative team environment
• ▹Define and drive the long-term vision and strategy for your teams, aligned with company objectives and product priorities
• ▹Identify and prioritise high-impact opportunities in close partnership with Product, Data and Design
• ▹Own execution and delivery, balancing speed, quality and reliability
• ▹Provide technical leadership, guide system design and architectural decisions and remove technical obstacles
• ▹Champion engineering best practices to improve code quality, operational excellence and development processes
• ▹Collaborate with stakeholders across the broader business to align on priorities, strategy and outcomes

Requirements

• ▹3-5+ years of experience building, leading and scaling development teams
• ▹People-centric approach and team-building skills: creating psychological safety, giving actionable feedback, coaching and mentoring
• ▹Strong technical judgment and systems thinking: driving architectural discussions and evaluating technical trade-offs
• ▹Product and business partnership with Product, Design and Data, connecting technical decisions to user experience and business metrics
• ▹Results-oriented, with a track record of driving performance and achieving ambitious, measurable goals
• ▹Ethical leadership: empathy, transparency, accountability and ownership
