Responsibilities

• ▹Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments with a primary focus on automation, reliability, and security
• ▹Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and other automation tools to provision and manage AWS and on-premises resources
• ▹Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines to enable secure, reliable, and efficient software delivery
• ▹Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, and operational processes using scripting and DevOps best practices
• ▹Collaborate closely with development teams to improve platform reliability, deployment processes, and operational efficiency
• ▹Implement and maintain observability solutions, including monitoring, logging, and alerting platforms
• ▹Manage AWS services and cloud-native infrastructure components while ensuring security and compliance requirements are met
• ▹Support containerized workloads and orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes
• ▹Design and maintain networking components including firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and secure connectivity between cloud and on-premises environments
• ▹Troubleshoot infrastructure, platform, and networking issues to ensure high availability and optimal system performance
• ▹Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to incident response and continuous service improvement
• ▹Stay up to date with emerging DevOps, cloud, automation, and security technologies and best practices

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• ▹3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a similar role
• ▹Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native architectures
• ▹Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, preferably Terraform
• ▹Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• ▹Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages
• ▹Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or similar tools
• ▹Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• ▹Solid knowledge of networking concepts, including VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, DNS, and network security
• ▹Familiarity with security best practices, IAM, encryption, and compliance requirements
• ▹Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Nice to have

• ▹AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, Security Specialty, or similar)
• ▹Experience with DevSecOps practices and integrating security controls into CI/CD pipelines
• ▹Knowledge of security compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, or HIPAA
• ▹Experience with SIEM platforms, vulnerability management, and security automation
• ▹Familiarity with zero-trust architecture and micro-segmentation concepts
• ▹German language skills
