Responsibilities

• ▹Design, implement and maintain network infrastructure components including routers, switches, firewalls and VPN systems
• ▹Monitor network performance and availability using industry-standard tools, proactively identifying and resolving issues
• ▹Configure and manage network devices, ensuring proper documentation of all configurations and changes
• ▹Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and provide technical support
• ▹Implement and maintain network security protocols, access controls and compliance measures
• ▹Plan and execute network upgrades, expansions and technology refreshes with minimal operational impact
• ▹Collaborate with IT team members and other departments on infrastructure projects and initiatives
• ▹Maintain detailed documentation of network topology, configurations, procedures and disaster recovery plans
• ▹Perform regular network audits and assessments to identify optimization opportunities
• ▹Stay current on industry best practices and emerging network technologies

Requirements

• ▹2-4 years of professional experience in network administration or IT infrastructure management
• ▹Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and network architecture
• ▹Experience with network monitoring software (Nagios, Zabbix or similar platforms)
• ▹Resolving connectivity issues through a ticketing system (ServiceNow)
• ▹Hands-on experience with network diagnostic and troubleshooting tools
• ▹Firewall configuration and management
• ▹VPN configuration and management
• ▹Ability to analyze network performance data and optimize systems

Nice to have

• ▹Vendor-specific certifications (Cisco CCNA, Juniper or Fortinet)
• ▹Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) practices

What we offer

• ▹Permanent contract (CCNL Commercio), gross annual salary (RAL) of €35-40K
