Staff DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Deploy, operate, and maintain blockchain RPC nodes across multiple chains and regions
• ▹Manage Kubernetes clusters underlying the node infrastructure
• ▹Perform rolling upgrades and hard fork migrations across EVM and non-EVM chains
• ▹Operate on-call rotations, triage live incidents via PagerDuty
• ▹Develop AI agents and automation tooling for health checks and auto-heal
• ▹Deploy and manage services via ArgoCD and GitOps workflows (Helm charts)
• ▹Manage bare-metal and cloud infrastructure including provisioning and hardware replacement
• ▹Respond promptly to security advisories, coordinate upgrades
• ▹Contribute to postmortems and async review processes
• ▹Collaborate cross-functionally with product, customer success, and engineering

Requirements

• ▹Experience designing and operating large-scale, multi-region, multi-cloud production systems
• ▹Kubernetes experience (k3s or similar), StatefulSets, storage management, Secrets, service mesh (Istio)
• ▹Secrets management and access control in multi-cluster environments
• ▹Familiarity with automation frameworks for node health checks and upgrades
• ▹Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, CloudFormation, Chef, Puppet)
• ▹GitOps tooling experience - ArgoCD, Helm
• ▹Cloud and bare-metal infrastructure management, storage provisioning and snapshot management
• ▹Strong observability tooling skills - Grafana, Prometheus, Alertmanager
• ▹Comfort working in an on-call environment with structured runbooks
• ▹Ability to write clear technical documentation and postmortems
• ▹Networking and VPC configuration experience
• ▹Basic understanding of security best practices

• ▹Experience with Istio service mesh deployments
• ▹Understanding of web applications and microservice architecture
• ▹Experience working with startups
