Senior Software Engineer - Java

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in backend development using Java to help drive and deliver our ongoing initiatives. Join us in redefining the tech landscape and building innovative solutions that create impact worldwide.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Design, build, test, deploy, monitor, and operate microservices on a global scale.
  • Contribute to the definition and refinement of solutions based on MACH architecture principles.
  • Develop high-quality, maintainable, and scalable software using modern engineering practices.
  • Promote and maintain strong coding standards, clean architecture, and engineering best practices.
  • Build and improve automated testing processes across unit, component, integration, and performance testing.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, including automation, quality gates, and continuous deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn ideas into reliable, production-ready services.
  • Support observability, monitoring, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization of services in production.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Applicable working experience or bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience developing and testing applications, services, or components.
  • Hands-on experience with end-to-end software development in microservice and cloud environments, from idea and design through build, test, deployment, monitoring, and production operations.
  • Strong experience with Java 21+.
  • Solid experience with Spring Boot and the Spring Framework.
  • Practical experience working with microservices and cloud-based architectures.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and container technologies such as Docker.
  • Strong understanding of test-driven development and automated testing practices.
  • Experience writing unit, component, integration, and performance tests.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and continuous deployment.
  • A strong focus on code quality, maintainability, scalability, and operational excellence.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in MACH-based or composable architecture environments.
  • Experience with API-first design and distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with observability tools, logging, tracing, and production monitoring.
  • Experience mentoring other engineers or contributing to engineering standards across teams.
