Responsibilities

• ▹Own the execution pipeline for partner hardware programs: milestone planning, validation readiness, quality gates, escalation paths
• ▹Manage and develop a team of firmware engineers
• ▹Drive coordination across firmware, hardware, quality, field engineering, and external partners
• ▹Build a predictable operating cadence for partner communication, technical triage, and risk reporting
• ▹Define long-term technical and execution strategy for partner-driven hardware programs

Requirements

• ▹8+ years relevant software, firmware, embedded systems, or hardware-adjacent engineering experience
• ▹3+ years people management experience leading firmware/embedded/hardware teams
• ▹Experience working with external technical partners (JDMs, ODMs, contract manufacturers, silicon vendors)
• ▹Experience delivering new hardware/firmware programs from prototype through production
• ▹Strong understanding of firmware development, hardware bring-up, and validation
• ▹Strong communication skills for status, tradeoffs, and risk escalation

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with EVT, DVT, PVT, MP milestones
• ▹Managing firmware programs involving Linux, BSPs, device drivers, bootloaders, wireless modules
• ▹Experience with globally distributed manufacturing partners
• ▹Experience improving execution with AI-assisted engineering tools

What we offer

• ▹Annual base salary: $154,700 - $260,000 USD
• ▹initial RSU grant with no vesting cliff
