Responsibilities

• ▹Develop and optimize backend services on Node.js and MongoDB, actively driving architecture decisions
• ▹Design and optimize APIs to partner systems with a focus on latency, reliability and maintainability
• ▹Operate Linux, Docker and Kubernetes infrastructure together with the DevOps team, spotting bottlenecks before they become problems
• ▹Establish new processes together with other departments, design internal tools to optimize the system landscape, and help decide where AI adds value
• ▹Ensure quality through code reviews and best practices, sharing knowledge via pair programming and honest feedback

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of senior backend experience, a significant part of it with Node.js and MongoDB (or similar NoSQL databases) in production
• ▹Systems thinking, backed by a computer science degree or comparable training
• ▹Ownership mentality: spotting problems independently, prioritizing and driving them to resolution
• ▹Strong organizational skills and high self-motivation for technical challenges
• ▹Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
