Engineering Manager, Billing Platform

Responsibilities

• ▹Define and drive the team's roadmap, aligning it with organizational objectives
• ▹Provide technical leadership on complex distributed systems and design
• ▹Partner with business and technical teams to translate business goals into scalable solutions
• ▹Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, including Staff-level engineers
• ▹Communicate team progress, challenges, and strategic direction to senior leadership

Requirements

• ▹Experience working on a customer-facing product, ideally in developer tools or high-traffic surfaces
• ▹Experience owning a product area end-to-end, from shipping features through long-term maintenance
• ▹Excellent communication skills, able to articulate technical concepts and tradeoffs
• ▹Experience with scoping work, resource allocation, and setting engineering milestones
• ▹5+ years professional engineering experience, preferably with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript or similar
• ▹2+ years of engineering management experience
