Responsibilities

• ▹Build, operate and support Twilio's global IT network infrastructure
• ▹Track network assets, hardware and software
• ▹Monitor network performance, availability, utilization and latency, reporting metrics to IT leadership
• ▹Work with stakeholder teams on current and future network needs
• ▹Develop methods and tools to test and implement new LAN/WAN systems
• ▹Analyze and improve the efficiency and scalability of the network structure
• ▹Respond to incidents and perform network troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• ▹Create and maintain network design and process documentation

Requirements

• ▹7+ years building campus and/or data center network infrastructure, AWS cloud services and networking
• ▹5+ years with Cisco LAN/WAN/Wifi and Palo Alto Networks firewalls
• ▹3+ years of AWS cloud services and networking experience
• ▹Advanced knowledge of IEEE 802 standards and core IETF protocols (802.11, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing/switching)
• ▹Hands-on network monitoring knowledge
• ▹Network security knowledge for compliance
• ▹Proficiency in Windows, Mac, Linux client networking
• ▹Experience troubleshooting at different OSI layers
• ▹University degree in computer science or equivalent experience

• ▹Cisco CCNA/CCNP certification
• ▹AWS certification
• ▹Zscaler Zero Trust experience/certification
• ▹Scripting for API automation
• ▹Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
• ▹ITIL framework knowledge
• ▹Project management skills
