Responsibilities

• ▹Architect and implement next-generation WAF, IDS, and IPS capabilities at the gateway level against OWASP Top 10, zero-day exploits, and API abuse
• ▹Design and implement Zero Trust security models across hybrid and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, on-prem)
• ▹Partner with Product and Architecture leads to define the multi-year security roadmap, balancing OSS and Enterprise needs
• ▹Lead response to complex security challenges, from supply chain vulnerabilities to high-stakes CVE remediations
• ▹Champion a Security-First culture by mentoring engineers and influencing cybersecurity maturity

Requirements

• ▹5+ years in Cybersecurity Engineering, focused on high-traffic infrastructure or API management
• ▹Expert-level knowledge of multi-cloud solution design, securing traffic across cloud providers and Kubernetes
• ▹Proven track record designing/deploying WAF, IDS, IPS systems at scale, signature-based vs. ML-based detection
• ▹Programming proficiency: Python, Go or Rust
• ▹Design excellence in high-performance security designs preserving millisecond-latency

• ▹Contributing to or maintaining open-source security projects
