System Administrator – Backend Tools services - T Cloud Public (REF5384M)

Responsibilities

• ▹Solve complex challenges in the day-to-day operations of a hyperscaler's cloud backend, with a focus on backend tools services
• ▹Work hands-on at the console
• ▹Work directly with the technologies that power the platform
• ▹Join project rollouts and help launch new features and tools that evolve the cloud
• ▹Ideally drive end-to-end automation using industry-standard automation frameworks
• ▹Collaborate in a team of specialists where open communication, trust and mutual support are the norm

Requirements

• ▹Completed studies in a technical, engineering or scientific subject, or comparable professional training
• ▹3–5 years of hands-on IT experience with a strong focus on modern cloud technologies (upgrades, patches, life cycle management, bug management, incident management)
• ▹Good Linux knowledge, basic OpenStack knowledge and IT security fundamentals – comfortable managing servers and services, and know how to keep core OpenStack infrastructure services secure
• ▹Fluent in written and spoken English

Nice to have

• ▹Experience in infrastructure automation (Ansible, Terraform, APIs, or similar)
• ▹Using at least one automation cloud tool such as Cloud Scope or CodeArts Light
• ▹Experience with OpenStack and contributions to open-source projects
