Responsibilities

• ▹Designing, operating, and further developing OpenStack-based network services on the T Cloud Public platform in close collaboration with vendors and internal experts
• ▹Planning and driving automation initiatives using modern frameworks to improve reliability and speed
• ▹Enhancing the platform's network architecture with a strong focus on IT security and robustness
• ▹Working closely with specialists across the Deutsche Telekom Group on topics related to public cloud and open-source technologies
• ▹Preparing technical materials, presenting architectural concepts, and advising management on strategic technology decisions
• ▹Acting as a senior architect within an agile squad — supporting, mentoring, and guiding colleagues as part of everyday work
• ▹Handling hands-on tasks at the console to validate and support architectural decisions

Requirements

• ▹Completed studies in a technical, engineering or scientific subject or comparable professional training
• ▹Minimum 7 years of professional experience in IT with a focus on modern cloud technologies
• ▹Very good knowledge of software, cloud and container architectures
• ▹Experience in infrastructure automation
• ▹In-depth knowledge of Linux, system tools and network-related services
• ▹Knowledge of agile development processes
• ▹Fluency in written and spoken English

Nice to have

• ▹OpenStack experience
• ▹Programming experience in open-source projects
